ÄNGELHOLM HAS AN IDYLLIC CHARM, TEMPTING COUNTRYSIDE SHOPPING AND AN ACTIVE BEACH LIFE. THE SMALL RIVER RÖNNEÅ FLOWS THROUGH THE TOWN, SITUATED BETWEEN THE BJÄRE AND KULLEN PENINSULAS, WITH THE MIGHTY HALLANDSÅS TO THE NORTH.

In the 1880s Ängelholm was known as a health and seaside resort, and the long and wide sandy beaches are still tempting pleasure seekers.
Havsbaden, Råbocka, Skälderviken, Vejbystrand and Sibirien are names of some popular beaches.
In Rönneå there is canoeing, and Västersjön is a popular lake for swimming and taking a trip in a rowboat. The many watercourses makes Ängelholm an attractive seaside resort, and also a place with a large variation of angling, where you can get salmon, perch and pike.
