Helsingborg

– a small town with the offerings of a big city

Helsingborg has a ringside seat next to the sound. The beaches reach the city centre and the danish town Helsingör is just a short ferry ride away. It is a mix between city, countryside and ocean. Being close to nature has given the municipality a special feel.

From north to south you can follow the coastline along the verge, passing several small genuine coastal villages like Råå to the south and Domsten to the north. On the way you pass Pålsjö wood, with its many hiking trails. Along all of the sea front there are swimming spots and restaurants during the summer, and the feeling of joy doesn't subside in the cooler part of the year.

Food and drinks with a view of the Danish Kronborg is equally pleasing in the chill of the autumn wind and many of the city’s inhabitants put on their bathrobe for a winter bath in the Sound from one of the many piers. Wonderfully refreshing!
